California, occasional in the South Coast Ranges from the Mount Hamilton Range to the Santa Lucia Mountains, and in the southern Sierra Nevada, common form the Greenhorn Range and Mount Pinos to the San Jacinto and Santa Rosa Mountains. Type locality: Mt. Wilson.
