Shale and sandstone woods.
Distribution Range:
Arkansas, sw Missouri, eastern Oklahoma. Ozark and Ouachita plateaus from the White River southward, westward to eastern border of the Osage Plains; extending southeastward along the Arkansas River into the West Gulf Coastal Plain, to Lincoln County, Arkansas.
Soil Type:
