Habitat Description: 
In sagebrush, juniper and pinyon-juniper communities.
Distribution Range: 
In the northwest part of its range from Lassen and Modoc counties, California through north Washoe County, Nevada to south Harney County, Oregon, and the south and east part from Lyon County (west of the Wassuk Range) through northwest Nye, south Lander, south Eureka, and northwest White Pine counties to central Elko County, Nevada, and Owyhee County, Idaho.
