Distribution Range:

Penstemon eriantheris var. redactus ranges from southwestern Montana across central Idaho to adjacent northeastern Oregon.

Other Notes:

One of the distinguishing features of Penstemon eriantherus is the glandular hairs present on the ovary. Photo #24 illustrates this character.
